Recent patch and partial recovery
Insider from previous week and next week plans
We would like to deeply apologize for the previous rollback and for a handful of issues due to compilation standards for Windows. The issue is now resolved, thanks to the development team and we will look more into improving the issue of resolving problems before distributing it in production.
We are very thankful for the patience of any affected by a rollback, we are still trying our best to fully recover from the losses caused and will announce any progress as soon as possible.
In last the week we’ve aimed at listing problems involved in our current web service, and we come up with an handful of gradually evolving solutions to improve experience, loading speed, serving content and static files, versioning, caching, extensibility and testing environment at Anrinch in every part of the world. As the results of our geographical data, the majority of players are from United States, making almost ⅔ of playerbase!
The current web service is hosted in the United Kingdom, this making an unpleasant experience for the US players due to high latency issue. During past web development week we have thought of scalability and we decided to introduce an idea of regional web development for both large files and web files. Improving speed for US players, capability to scale in overseas areas and making their access fast and more reactive.
As this is still in the development stage, early results will be seen as soon as we will prepare all of our fundamentals and being able to present visuals or even live previews and sign ups for beta!
In the next week we will touch upon upkeep of the web, problems related and availability of the content at any time requested, allowing us to serve you the most recent and available content during maintenances.
